INGREDIENTS FOR BENGALI PULAV
Rice – 1 cup
Green peas – 200 gms
Cottage cheese – 200 gms [cut into cubes]
Cloves – 4
Bay leaves – 2
Cardamom – 4 [crushed]
Cinnamon sticks – 2
Green chilies – 2 [chopped]
Sugar – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tbsp
METHOD OF PREPARING BENGALI PULAV
Heat oil in a pan add cottage cheese, by leaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks, green peas, chopped green chilies and fry for 2 minutes. Add rice and mix well. Add 2 cups of water. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 20 minutes on low flame. Add sugar and mix well.
Remove from the flame and serve hot.
