JAPANESE MISO SOUP RECIPE

INGREDIENTS FOR JAPANESE MISO SOUP

Cake bean curd – 1cup
Water – 5 cups
Straw mushrooms – 8
Pc kelp [sea weed] – 1
Akamiso – 20 gms[red miso]
Shiromiso -- 40 gms [white miso]
Brown soya beans --5 tbsp
Chopped spring onions for garnishing

METHOD FOR PREPARING JAPANESE MISO SOUP

Bring water and kelp to boil together. Remove kelp. Add miso, mushrooms and bean curs, Bring to boil simmer for 5 minutes. Add soya beans. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
