CAPSICUM RICE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS FOR CAPSICUM RICE

Long grain rice – 1 ½ cup
Green chilies – 2 [chopped]
Garlic flakes – 3 [chopped]
Pepper powder –1 tsp
Red capsicum – ½ cup
Chicken sausage – 3 pieces [chopped]
Spring onion – ¼ cup
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp [chopped]
Salt to taste

METHOD OF PREPARING CAPSICUM RICE

Wash and cook the rice in 3 cups of water at least 20 minutes in low flame and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and put chopped green chilies and chopped garlic flakes for 2 minutes. Add chopped chicken sausage, salt and pepper powder and mix well.
Add chopped capsicum and chopped spring onion and fry for another 2 minutes.
Add boiled rice and mix well.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
